The image of the executive workspace has changed

I recently saw an interview with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in which his working area was shown. One would think that the executive office furniture for a billionaire CEO would be more glamorous than a simple workstation that was probably purchased online with dozens of other similar units used by their company. But this is the nature of furniture in use for the executive office these days. More important than appearance is the ability of a desk to easily support computers, monitors and other telemetry. As shown in the Facebook example, even the most high level managers are required to perform basic IT tasks.
